Coach of the Week – Sophie Wright

Learn how successful coaches started out and learn from their success!

Name: Sophie Wright

Location: Australia

Q.  Why did you become a coach?
A. I became a coach as I knew I wanted to help young performers with mindfulness, positivity and confidence. I knew that by coaching young people (via Skype/phone)  I could help more people, and reach more people who wanted to build more confidence and reach their performing goals.

Q.  Aside from coaching what do you love doing?
A. I am a performer so I love to act sing and dance!  However, my meditation practice is one of my favorite things to relax me and make me feel centered and calm for the day. I also love being outside, discovering new places and traveling to new countries.

Q.  What was the scariest thing about starting your business?
A. The scariest thing, I think was actually putting myself out there in all social medias saying that I was coaching. I think to actually see my ‘business’ out there and running, and learning how to organize it all and to trust my ability to run my ‘business’ was my scariest thing.

Q.  What would you tell someone who is just starting out as a coach?
A. Trust what you know and trust your coaching service. You are doing this for a reason because you have a call to help people and share knowledge and skills. So stay true to what you are doing and never give up.

Q.  What is the best thing about your business?
A. I love that I can work wherever I am. That makes me so happy and excited to be able to be flexible with my work and to be able to help people wherever I am.

Q.  What exciting plans are you working on at the moment?
A. I have just released my first Online E-course as well as a 12-week 1:1 coaching package which is very exciting!!!
